General Project Description

This project involves bridge deck treatment and concrete repairs across eight bridge locations within the City of San José. The scope includes traffic control, cleaning and treating existing bridge decks with methacrylate, repairing spalled areas of reinforced concrete, preparing existing bridge deck surfaces, and placing new traffic striping in-kind. Concrete spall repair work over creeks includes removing unsound concrete, preparing surfaces, and placing concrete patch material. The project also requires protection of existing structures, facilities, and utilities, and compliance with Buy America requirements for iron and steel products.
