General Project Description
The City of Carmel-by-the-Sea is soliciting proposals from licensed architectural firms to provide comprehensive professional architectural and engineering services for the complete demolition and new construction of its Police Department and Public Works facilities. The project scope includes design development, cost estimating, swing space analysis, community engagement, preparation of bid documents, construction support services, and overall project management. The new facilities must adhere to Carmel-by-the-Sea's design guidelines, community standards, ADA and seismic compliance, and incorporate sustainable practices with a minimum LEED Gold certification.
