Carmel By The Sea City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, FOREST THEATER STAGE REPAIRS, identified under Solicitation ID: 25-26-120525. Work is to be performed near Santa Rita St, Carmel-By-The-Sea, CA, USA in Monterey County.

General Project Description

This project involves comprehensive stage repairs at the Forest Theater. The scope includes the demolition and replacement of the existing plywood stage flooring, compromised tongue and groove (T&G) subfloor, and any damaged 2x6 framing members using pressure-treated lumber. The stage covers approximately 4,000 sq. ft., with the assumption that 100% of the plywood decking and 20% (800 sq. ft) of the dimensional lumber substructure will require replacement. The contractor is responsible for ensuring clean and safe public access to the park surrounding the theater during construction, including site protection. The work also covers mobilization, demobilization, coordinating with various utilities, providing temporary facilities, and implementing environmental pollution prevention measures, including dust control and storm water management.

Stage measures approx. 4,000 sq. ft.; assume 100% of plywood decking and 20% (800 sq. ft) of dimensional lumber substructure will require replacement. All lumber must be kiln-dried and pressure-treated where in contact with ground or masonry, adhering to Rough Carpentry Section 061000 standards.
