General Project Description

This project involves the construction of aquifer storage and recovery (ASR) well injection equipping improvements for the City of Lathrop. The scope includes connecting to an existing City drinking water main, installing yard piping, modifying existing storage tank inlet piping, constructing a concrete wellhead, installing wellhead mechanical improvements, erecting a "chemical canopy" steel structure, installing wellhead treatment chemical systems (carbon dioxide and sodium hypochlorite), and installing electrical and instrumentation facilities. The work also covers commissioning and 12 months of ongoing well backflushing, testing, and water quality sampling following completion of the wellhead improvements.
