General Project Description

The City of Lathrop is seeking professional engineering consulting services to address the detection of Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in its groundwater at concentrations exceeding State and Federal drinking water standards. The project involves adding PFAS treatment at the existing Louise Avenue Water Treatment Facility (LAWTF). The scope includes pilot studies, preparing a basis of design report, developing detailed plans, specifications, and engineer's estimates, providing bidding assistance, offering engineering support during construction, coordinating with various regulatory agencies for permits, and preparing final construction reports and record drawings.
