Southern California Regional Rail Authority (SCRRA) is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, FY24 Valley Track Project, identified under Solicitation ID: C3166-26. Work is to be performed near Gateway Plaza, Los Angeles, CA 90012, USA in Los Angeles County.

General Project Description

The Southern California Regional Rail Authority (SCRRA), in cooperation with LA Metro, is seeking a contractor for track rehabilitation improvements at various locations along the Valley Subdivision. The project involves the rehabilitation and replacement of selected track components to restore track geometry, improve ride quality, and maintain compliance with SCRRA standards. Key improvements include timber tie replacement, rail replacement in designated curves, ballast installation, track surfacing and regulating, replacement of other track material (OTM), and rehabilitation of a selected public grade crossing. Construction activities may involve earthwork, track work, ballast placement, surfacing and regulating, rail destressing, and crossing panel installation, requiring coordination with SCRRA operations and other stakeholders.
