General Project Description

This on-call project involves providing homeless encampment site cleanup and support services at various locations throughout the City of Santee. The successful bidder will furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and mobility necessary to perform turnkey cleanup services. The scope includes surveying sites, collecting debris, dismantling temporary structures, removing trash and human waste, and disposing of encampment waste material to leave a safe and clean site. Work may occasionally involve confined space entry cleanup. Identified personal property will be transported for storage to a city-designated site. The contractor must ensure compliance with traffic control, public safety, CARB fleet compliance, and all applicable water quality regulations.
