Redondo Beach City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, DESIGN, BUILD, REHABILITATION, AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF EXISTING UNLEADED GAS AND DIESEL SYSTEM FUELING FACILITY INFRASTRUCTURE, identified under Solicitation ID: RFP#2526-PW001-20670. Work is to be performed near 531 N Gertruda Ave, Redondo Beach, CA 90277, USA in Los Angeles County.
General Project Description
The City of Redondo Beach is seeking proposals for design-build and long-term maintenance services to replace the existing unleaded gasoline and diesel fueling infrastructure, including dispenser replacement, at the City Yard. The project involves a comprehensive condition assessment of the current fueling infrastructure (tanks, piping, pumps, dispensers) to determine components for reuse or replacement. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, permits, engineering, testing, disposal, commissioning, and long-term facility maintenance to deliver a fully operational, code-compliant fuel dispensing system. A phased construction plan is mandatory to maintain uninterrupted fueling operations for municipal fleet services, prioritizing safety, regulatory compliance, and minimizing risks.
