General Project Description

The City of Redondo Beach is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors for the supply, installation, and ongoing maintenance of a durable, efficient waste compactor system for organic waste stream management. The compactor will be installed in the City's Public Works Department, Pier Division, in a designed compactor room with roll-up doors. The project includes the purchase of one compactor meeting specific technical requirements, delivery and installation, a two-year maintenance contract with a three-year optional extension, and training for end-users and facility staff. The installation work must adhere to prevailing wage laws.
