General Project Description

This project involves the relocation of an existing 12-inch domestic water pipeline at I-5 Segment 1 and Sand Canyon Avenue. The work includes mobilization and demobilization; setting up and monitoring traffic control devices in accordance with approved traffic control plans; construction of approximately 152 lineal feet of 12-inch C900 PVC waterline, including reconnections to the existing domestic water system and a 12-inch gate valve; removal and replacement of pavement in compliance with City of Irvine and Caltrans permits; and restoration of all disturbed areas. The contractor is also responsible for potholing utilities and sequencing construction to minimize disruption.
