General Project Description
The City of Alameda is soliciting proposals for a five-year on-call contract for door and gate maintenance services across approximately 76 City-owned facilities. The primary purpose is to ensure operational readiness, safety, and compliance with manufacturer recommendations and regulatory codes. The scope includes routine and emergency repairs, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, installation of new doors, gates, operators, and related hardware, upgrades to security and ADA-compliant systems, and temporary support services for construction projects. Services will be provided on an as-needed basis, with specific requirements for emergency response times.
