General Project Description
The City of Alameda is seeking proposals for a 4-year on-call contract for pedestrian door maintenance services across approximately 76 City-owned facilities. The project aims to ensure efficient and safe operation of pedestrian doors, compliance with manufacturer recommendations, and applicable regulatory codes. Services will be on an as-needed, work order basis, covering routine maintenance, emergency repairs, troubleshooting, part replacement and repair (including hardware, operators, and safety devices), ADA compliance support, safe-off/deactivation services for construction projects, and installation of new doors and related hardware.
