General Project Description
The County of Yolo Department of Community Services is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants for the East Esparto Sidewalk Improvement Feasibility Study and Design Project. This federally funded initiative aims to enhance pedestrian safety and address existing drainage challenges along Winters Street, Grafton Street, and Plainfield Street in Esparto, Yolo County. The project involves a comprehensive study to analyze current drainage conditions, assess the feasibility of adding sidewalks, develop and evaluate design alternatives, conduct geotechnical investigations, perform environmental studies for NEPA/CEQA compliance, and prepare final plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E). The scope also includes managing right-of-way (ROW) and utilities relocation efforts. Optional engineering support during bidding and construction phases may also be required.
