General Project Description

This project involves the replacement of an approximately 140-foot-long section of an existing retaining wall along Pt. San Pedro Road, including adjacent sidewalk and pavements. The scope includes mobilization, traffic control, stormwater pollution prevention, clearing and grubbing, roadway excavation, concrete removal and placement (curb & gutter, sidewalk, valley gutter, sidewalk underdrain), hot mix asphalt paving, utility cover adjustments, satellite dish demolition, red curb painting, and the design-build and installation of a soil nail retaining wall system. The soil nail wall design will encompass geotechnical requirements, reinforced shotcrete facing, and drainage provisions.
