General Project Description

The Lompoc Unified School District is seeking proposals from qualified development teams for the comprehensive turnkey development, design, financing, construction, and long-term operation/management of a new workforce housing facility for its employees. The project involves the demolition of the existing Maple Continuation High School at 4010 Jupiter Avenue and the construction of approximately 150 to 200 residential units. At least 100 units will be dedicated to District employees at below-market rates, with the remainder available to the general public. The selected development team will be responsible for all project aspects, including planning, permitting, construction, financing (with no District financial contribution), and facility management for a minimum of 30 years, adhering to prevailing wage laws.
