General Project Description
The Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) is seeking a Design-Build Contractor for the Regional Mapping and Wayfinding Project (RMWP), a pilot stage initiative aiming to harmonize wayfinding maps and signage across Bay Area transit locations. The initial scope involves full design, engineering, fabrication, and construction services for various wayfinding and signage efforts at nine Transit Hubs and a series of Transit Stops in Sonoma and Solano Counties. The work includes permanent static signs, temporary static signs, display cases for printed materials, electronic displays, audio annunciators, tactile signs, and tactile paving/non-visual wayfinding equipment. The contractor may also optionally perform operations and maintenance services for the newly installed signage.
