General Project Description
The Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) is seeking a Design-Build Contractor for Progressive Design-Build Services for Regional Mapping and Wayfinding. The project involves full design, engineering, fabrication, and construction services for implementing wayfinding and signage efforts at a minimum of nine (9) Transit Hubs and various Transit Stops across Sonoma and Solano Counties within the Bay Area. The scope includes permanent static signs, temporary static signs, display cases with printed materials, electronic displays, audio annunciators, tactile signs, and tactile paving, all aimed at creating a harmonized wayfinding system to enhance customer navigation. The contractor will coordinate closely with MTC, its Wayfinding Standards Consultant, transit agencies, cities, and other jurisdictions. Optional operation and maintenance services for newly installed signage may also be required.
