General Project Description

The Transbay Joint Powers Authority (TJPA) seeks qualified firms to provide Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Services for the Salesforce Transit Center and Park and the Bus Storage Facility. The scope includes implementing an IPM program, providing site-specific recommendations, pest suppression and control, routine site inspections, proactive monitoring, and regular reporting. Services involve controlling and eliminating domestic pests such as rats, mice, cockroaches, common ants, nuisance insects and vertebrates (e.g., feral cats, raccoons, skunks, opossums, ground squirrels), and mosquitoes, with specialized services for pigeons, bats, and ticks upon request. The work also includes removing and properly disposing of dead animals, conducting weekly and monthly inspections, and providing written reports with corrective action recommendations, all while complying with San Francisco's Integrated Pest Management Ordinance and other applicable regulations. Treatment methods may involve spraying, baiting, or granulating subject to TJPA approval.
