General Project Description

The Transbay Joint Powers Authority (TJPA) is seeking qualified firms to provide physical security systems maintenance, installation, service, and integration for the Salesforce Transit Center. The scope of work includes maintaining, testing, inspecting, installing, servicing, and supporting key physical security systems. These systems encompass Lenel On-Guard Security Access Control, Hexagon dC3 Video Management System (VMS), Alertus Emergency Communication/Mass Notification System, Stentofon IP-based Emergency Call Boxes, Rath IP-based Area of Refuge (AOR) Call Boxes, and the VMware platform hosting the Alertus server. Key responsibilities include system status reviews, regular system testing of access control doors, intrusion detection, video surveillance, emergency communication devices, comprehensive server and system health checks (including automated and manual backups, event log monitoring, and time synchronization), managing security system programming and integration according to established standards, and procuring and installing hardware as requested by TJPA's Chief Security Officer. The contract is anticipated for a three-year base term with two, one-year extension options, for a total potential term of five years.
