General Project Description

The Transbay Joint Powers Authority (TJPA) is seeking proposals for Fire Life Safety Services (FLSS) for the Salesforce Transit Center and Bus Storage Facility. The contract will cover comprehensive inspection, testing, maintenance, repair, and improvement services for fire alarm, public address, sprinkler, and associated life safety systems and equipment. Services must comply with San Francisco Fire Code requirements and NFPA 72 and 25 standards. The scope includes scheduled inspections (quarterly, semi-annual, annual), detection/pre-action system management, elevator recall testing, bus circulation fan testing, emergency communication system service, reporting, labeling, tenant improvements, troubleshooting, standard and emergency repairs, and upgrades. The agreement is anticipated to be for a five-year term.
