General Project Description

This project involves the cleaning and condition assessment of Digester No. 2 at the Valley Sanitary District’s Wastewater Recycling Facility. The scope of work encompasses confined space entry, the removal and proper disposal of accumulated sludge, grit, and debris, pressure washing of all internal surfaces, and coordination with facility staff to prepare the digester for inspection and future operation. The contract may include additive bid items for the removal and replacement of existing coatings or spot repairs on the interior roof and protective coatings on existing interior metallic pipes. Comprehensive health and safety plans, including digester gas safety measures, and strict adherence to waste disposal regulations for sludge are required.
