General Project Description
This project involves the supply and delivery of as-needed plumbing supplies to various locations managed by the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA). The contract seeks firm, fixed-price bids for a representative listing of plumbing equipment and supplies, including various brands and makes typically used by HACLA. The procured goods will be paid using federal funding from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and/or other federal funds, requiring compliance with the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA) for iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials if used for infrastructure projects exceeding $250,000. All items must be new, unused, and carry the manufacturer's standard warranty, with a provision for defective returns and authorized substitutions.
