General Project Description

The Transportation Agency for Monterey County (TAMC) is seeking professional Construction Management (CM) services for the Fort Ord Regional Trail and Greenway (FORTAG) California Avenue segment. This project involves constructing a new 12-foot wide multi-use and accessible trail through the City of Marina, adjacent to California Avenue from Patton Parkway to 8th Street, traversing northeast through open space to connect to 9th Street and Imjin Road. The selected consultant will provide comprehensive CM services in accordance with Caltrans Construction Manual and Procedure Directives, covering pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases. Key responsibilities include constructability review, pre-bid assistance, construction contract verification, pre-construction conferences, public relations, utility coordination, monitoring contractor performance, field inspections, quality control, schedule monitoring, materials testing, labor compliance enforcement, and project documentation.
