General Project Description
This project involves road and bridge construction, specifically the removal and replacement of an existing single-span railroad car girder bridge with a timber deck and asphalt concrete overlay. The replacement will be a new single-span precast voided slab girder bridge with a cast-in-place reinforced concrete deck within Madera County. The work includes various heavy civil engineering tasks such as earthwork, erosion control, temporary traffic management, environmental stewardship, structural concrete work, piling, and installation of roadside features and irrigation systems, all in accordance with Caltrans Standard Specifications and Special Provisions.
