General Project Description

The Madera County Public Works Department is seeking a qualified consultant firm to provide comprehensive Construction Management, Engineering, Inspection, and Materials Testing Services for the Avenue 16½ Bridge Replacement at Dry Creek Project. The scope includes Resident Engineer (RE) services, Structures Representative (SR) services, Construction Inspection (including Source Inspection), and Material Quality Assurance Sampling and Testing. The consultant will ensure compliance with Caltrans Construction Manual, Local Agency Supplement, and federal guidelines for the Highway Bridge Program. The proposed bridge superstructure involves precast prestressed voided slabs with a reinforced concrete topping slab and CIDH pile foundations. The project also requires environmental compliance, storm water pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) oversight, and post-construction services including as-builts and final reports.
