General Project Description

The Carlsbad Unified School District intends to acquire and install new network equipment and device licenses across seven school sites to upgrade existing infrastructure. The project's scope includes vendor installation services, removal of existing devices, and the provision of all necessary materials and five-year device licenses. Installation activities will be coordinated with the District's Technology and Assessment team. The project expects to reuse existing Category 6 cabling where appropriate, but one new Cat 6 patch cable per port is required. The installation work during the school year must occur outside of instructional hours or on weekends; during the summer schedule (July 1 – July 30), normal daytime work hours are permitted.
