Vallejo Flood and Wastewater District is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, North Secondary Clarifier Rehabilitation Project, identified under Solicitation ID: PSC017. Work is to be performed near 450 Ryder St, Vallejo, CA 94590, USA in Solano County.
General Project Description
This project involves the rehabilitation of the North Secondary Clarifier at the Vallejo Flood and Wastewater District Wastewater Treatment Plant. The scope includes miscellaneous mechanical rehabilitation, interior concrete repairs (surface crack, epoxy crack, waterproof injection crack, surface spall, formed spall, contraction/construction joint repair), clarifier drive replacement, piping and valve replacement (scum wet well piping, clarifier drain valve), launder cover replacement (fiberglass to aluminum), structural repairs (catwalk bearing plate, anchoring), sandblasting/painting of catwalk and interior metal components, and replacement of the existing impressed current cathodic protection system with a new passive galvanic anode cathodic protection system. It also covers general construction, demolition, formwork, reinforcing steel, cast-in-place concrete, concrete finishes, grouting, galvanizing, metal fastening, metal fabrications, metal stairs, ladders, guards and railings, gratings/checkered floor plates/access doors, stair treads and nosings, bearing devices and anchoring, glass fiber and resin fabrications (FRP ductwork), thermal and moisture protection (joint fillers, sealants, caulking), existing conditions assessment, earthwork (flowable fill, surface restoration, final grading, landscaping), process interconnections (mechanical requirements, ductile iron pipe, PVC/CPVC pipe, valves, valve operators, ball valves, piping/equipment identification systems, process control system provisions, testing, field testing), and process gas/liquid handling/purification/storage equipment (pumps, submersible chopper pumps), water and wastewater equipment. Owner-furnished equipment includes a new dual gate energy dissipating unit (EDI), a new 40' diameter x 9' depth clarifier centerwell, and a new clarifier drive.
