General Project Description

This Request for Qualifications and Proposal (RFQ/P) seeks qualified architectural firms to provide interior architectural services for the renovation of the 13,460 sq.ft. Arroyo Vista Recreation Center. The project scope includes assessment, conceptual design, construction documents, and construction support. Key renovation items include building out an unfinished kitchen, establishing a dedicated staff breakroom, ADA improvements for the public counter, and addressing deferred maintenance such as deteriorated window seals, exterior paint, flooring, ceilings, interior painting, acoustic paneling, and minor life safety upgrades. The services also entail Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering review, design of a facility surveillance system (Milestone with Axis Cameras), and assistance with permitting and bidding processes. The estimated construction budget for hard costs is not to exceed $500,000.
