General Project Description

This project involves comprehensive annual pavement maintenance and sidewalk repair within the City of Tustin. Key work includes roadway paving, slurry seal application, concrete curb and gutter installation, curb ramp and sidewalk repair, traffic striping, traffic loops, and traffic control. The project site is located across multiple areas within the City of Tustin, primarily within Zone 7 (bounded by Edinger Avenue, Tustin Ranch Road, Barranca Parkway, and State Route 55), and includes constructing a new crosswalk across Sycamore Avenue with associated ADA-compliant curb ramps, sidewalk, curb, and gutter improvements. Additionally, the scope covers improvements to the Tustin City Hall back parking lot, involving grinding, overlaying existing pavement, and replacing all striping, legends, and markings. Ancillary work such as earthwork, clearing, grubbing, excavation, subgrade preparation, base material placement, and adjustments to water valves and various manholes are also included.
