General Project Description

The California Polytechnic State University is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from interested General Contractors to provide Design-Build and Construction Manager services under a Master Enabling Agreement (MEA). This three-year Task Order-Construction Agreement for Multiple Projects (TO-CA MEA) aims to cover the design and construction of various projects, with an overall maximum budget of $60,000,000 and no single project exceeding $15,000,000. The scope encompasses preconstruction services (design, scheduling, cost estimating, constructability reviews), and construction activities primarily focused on landscape projects (planting, irrigation, hardscape updates and additions), civil ADA concrete, and potential facility renovations, expansions, and site improvements across the campus. The General Contractor will be responsible for coordinating with regulatory agencies, obtaining permits, and managing subcontractors.
