General Project Description

The California State University, on behalf of California Polytechnic State University, is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from interested and qualified General Contractors to provide Design-Build and Construction Manager services. This is for a three-year Master Enabling Agreement (MEA) to cover multiple projects, employing either Lump Sum Price or GMP pricing. The MEA will facilitate task orders for design and preconstruction phase services, collaborating on design, constructability, cost, and schedule, followed by individual Project Construction Agreements. The total maximum budgeted cost for all projects under this MEA will not exceed $60,000,000, with no single project exceeding $15,000,000. All projects are subject to prevailing wage laws. The scope includes a wide range of campus improvements such as HVAC upgrades, security and door/window improvements, pickleball court conversion, lounge renovations, chiller replacements, interior tenant improvements, stadium seating upgrades, hangar improvements, sports complex lighting, patio structures, roofing replacement, and classroom renovations.
