General Project Description

This project involves asphalt, concrete, and striping work at various sites within the Redlands Unified School District. The work includes the removal and replacement of asphalt on outdoor volleyball courts, installation of 3-inch thick asphalt paving with 3/8 FINE MIX, construction of standard size asphalt curbs using BERM MIX, and application of a seal coat followed by two coats of white striping paint to outline volleyball courts. Additionally, the project includes the removal and replacement of concrete walks, driveway approaches (requiring city permit at Victoria Elementary school), tree rings, and water lines at designated school sites. It also covers grubbing/rough grading of grass/dirt areas, asphalt skin patching, overlay with Petromat fabric, installation of AC speed bumps, AC berms, concrete berms, redwood headers, slurry coats, grind and overlays, concrete curb and gutter installation, raising yard boxes, saw cutting asphalt or concrete, demo and haul away of concrete and dirt, asphalt ramp extensions, crack repair, concrete flow line installation, grinding asphalt at concrete edges, installation of concrete drain boxes with traffic grates, and Schedule 40 PVC drain pipe. The project also encompasses various striping for parking stalls (single and double line), lane delineators, numbers/letters, solid lines (4", 8", 12"), speed bumps, wheel stops, and court markings for basketball (full/half), volleyball, foursquare, tetherball, hopscotch, double circles, tricycle tracks, and ball walls. Curb painting (red/yellow/green) and installation of galvanized pipe mounted signs ("No Left Turn", "Van Accessible") are also specified.
