General Project Description

This project by the Sunnyslope County Water District involves the removal of two eucalyptus trees within the Ridgemark Golf Course. These trees obstruct new water main construction and require removal for safety as requested by San Benito County. The work includes the complete removal of a 22" diameter Red-Flowering Gum (Tree #1 on Donald Dr.) and a 37" diameter Blue Gum Eucalyptus (Tree #2 west of Ridgemark Dr. and Kinsley Dr.), with stumps cut no more than 1 foot above grade. Contractors are responsible for comprehensive site cleanup, including removal and off-hauling of all tree debris, maintaining clean work areas daily. Additionally, the contractor must obtain an encroachment permit and implement a traffic control plan for Tree #2.

Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Traffic Control, Specifications: Obtain an encroachment permit from San Benito County with a traffic control plan for Tree #2 due to its proximity to Ridgemark Dr.
