The Golden State Connect Authority (GSCA) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms to provide on-call construction inspection services for various broadband installation projects across 40 of California's 58 counties. The project involves constructing a wholesale, advanced communications network utilizing fiber optic technology, with cable laid underground and via aerial pole attachment. The selected firms will be added to a qualified "on-call" list for five years to be solicited for future proposals as projects are approved and budgeted. Services encompass project coordination, site inspections, documentation, quality assurance, compliance checks, and material coordination, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements including GREENBOOK, Caltrans standards, and NPDES.
