General Project Description

The State of California, Department of General Services (DGS), Facilities Management Division (FMD), is procuring urgent, on-call, as-needed statewide electrical low voltage (600 Volts and below) services for various state buildings and grounds. The contractor will provide all necessary labor, equipment, and materials for evaluating, diagnosing, repairing, replacing, testing, and inspecting low voltage electrical systems. FMD intends to award up to seven contracts for services across Northern, High North, Bay, Central, L.A. Metro, L.A. East, and Southern California regions. All work must conform to industry standards including NEMA, NFPA, NEC, IEEE, ANSI, Cal-OSHA, and CCR.
