General Project Description

This project involves providing comprehensive door maintenance and repair services for various state buildings and grounds within the Sacramento Area for the State of California, Department of General Services, Facilities Management Division (FMD). The scope includes both annual preventive maintenance and foreseeable repair services. Preventive maintenance tasks involve aligning doors, checking and tightening hardware, inspecting and lubricating friction points, adjusting hardware, inspecting overall condition of custom doors (including electronic/electrical systems), removing and replacing broken door glass and seals, installing new glass seals, cleaning, checking locks, replacing parts, and ensuring ADA compliance for door closers, operators, handles, hinges, and buttons. Repair services encompass specific tasks like replacing floor closers, walking beam pivots, maglocks, door glass, floor closure adjustable arms, and panic bars for various door types including aluminum glass, steel, and Herculite glass doors across multiple state buildings in Sacramento.
