California Department of General Services is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, IFB – Auditorium Theatrical Lighting Upgrade, identified under Solicitation ID: CR-24-227354. Work is to be performed near 1500 11th St, Sacramento, CA 95814, USA in Sacramento County.
General Project Description
This project involves the comprehensive theatrical lighting upgrade services for the Auditorium Theatrical Lighting system at the March Fong Eu Secretary of State Building in Sacramento, CA. The scope includes providing all necessary labor, equipment, and materials for the removal of 17 existing theatrical lighting fixtures and their replacement with new LED theatrical lighting fixtures. The work also entails the removal and replacement of all associated conduit and cabling, termination of low voltage cables, installation of new conduit and cable for lighting dimmers and interconnect LED lights, testing of connections and terminations, connection to the control interface, configuration and addressing of the new LED lights, disposal of existing theatrical lighting fixtures and dimmer racks, changing out spent light bulbs for track lighting, and providing programming services for lighting panels and controls. Furthermore, the contractor is required to create drawings and schematics for the newly installed system. The contract also specifies provisions for foreseeable and unforeseeable repair services, parts replacement, on-site training sessions for FMD staff on system troubleshooting and monitoring, and ongoing technical support services.
