General Project Description

This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeks architectural and engineering (A&E) firms for the programming, geotechnical surveying, real estate due diligence, design, and construction support for a new design-bid-build Boggs Mountain Helitack Base. The project encompasses various new facilities including a helicopter hangar, support vehicle garage, barracks, generator/pump/storage building, wash rack canopy, hazmat/retardant storage, an operations building, and a helicopter-training tower, along with associated site work and utilities. The facility must be designed for Zero Net Energy (ZNE) compliance and achieve a minimum LEED-NC Gold certification. Services may include reports, assessments, studies, preliminary plans, working drawings, regulatory approval, performance criteria, cost estimates, bidding, and construction support.
