Manhattan Beach City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Cloud-Based License Plate Recognition (LPR) System Implementation and Services, identified under Solicitation ID: 1345-26. Work is to be performed near 1400 Highland Ave, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266, USA in Los Angeles County.
General Project Description
This project involves the acquisition, implementation, and ongoing service of a Cloud-Based License Plate Recognition (LPR) system. The scope includes overall system design and integration, comprehensive cybersecurity measures (including virus prevention, data encryption and protection, redundant backup and recovery, and incident reporting), system uptime maintenance (99.5% or greater annually), on-site testing to demonstrate LPR read accuracy (minimum 98%) and GPS capabilities for ordinance enforcement, data import from existing systems, and comprehensive training programs for various City staff roles, along with continuous operational manual and software update support.
