General Project Description
The City of Mountain View is seeking qualified design-build providers for solar photovoltaic (PV) installations at multiple City facilities. The project aims to develop a cost-effective renewable energy solution, reduce annual electricity costs, and promote climate goals. The scope encompasses the design, engineering, material procurement, permitting, installation, interconnection, and monitoring of turn-key solar PV systems. A key requirement is that all PV systems must be "battery-ready" to facilitate future integration of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Microgrid Energy Management Systems (MEMS), which are requested as optional Add Alternates. The systems must qualify for Net Billing Tariff (NBT) interconnection with PG&E and integrate with the City's existing AlsoEnergy monitoring program.
