General Project Description
The City of Oceanside Water Utilities Department is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for as-needed Construction Management (CM) and Inspection Services and Specialty Inspection and Materials Testing Services for Capital Improvement Projects (CIP). Contracts will be established on a contractual basis for an initial three-year term, with a potential two-year renewal, totaling up to five years. Consultants will provide professional services for Category A (Construction Management and Inspection) which includes construction management, inspection, contract administration, field observation, document control, schedule and cost monitoring, and project delivery support. Category B (Specialty Inspection and Materials Testing Services) involves specialty inspection, special testing, and certified inspection services for structural elements, coatings, welding, anchorage, reinforcing steel, concrete, masonry, electrical, pipe welding, and geotechnical testing. The selected firms will support the City in delivering projects in accordance with plans, specifications, and permits, including pre-construction reviews, coordination, contract administration, construction observation, and documentation.
