General Project Description

This project involves the construction of a debris boom on the Carbon Creek Channel (B01), west of Bloomfield Street. The work scope includes furnishing and installing approximately 190 linear feet of TUFFBOOM floating debris boom, equipped with debris screens, a central breakaway link, and two anchor blocks with imbedded anchor posts. The system, designed to intercept and capture floatable materials, will be anchored at the top of concrete side slopes and installed in a diagonal alignment to direct debris towards a designated collection point near an access ramp. Associated work includes mobilization, site clearing and grubbing, and providing all necessary hardware, fittings, and connections for a complete and operable system.
