General Project Description

This project involves the construction of a debris boom within the Santa Ana Delhi Channel (F01), northwest of Santa Ana Avenue. The scope includes the procurement and furnishing of a 150-foot TUFFBOOMTM (or equal) floating debris boom system, equipped with debris screens, a breakaway link, and two anchor plates. The contractor is responsible for installing the boom and anchor plates to the channel sidewalls, activating the system for service, and supplying all associated hardware, fittings, and connections to ensure a complete and operable system. Additional work items include mobilization, clearing and grubbing, earthwork (excavation and fill), and compliance with various regulatory requirements including an ESCCP (Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan).
