General Project Description

This project involves the construction of a debris boom in the Imperial Channel (A07), west of Euclid Street. The scope includes the procurement and installation of a 100-foot TUFFBOOMTM (or equivalent) floating debris boom equipped with debris screens and a breakaway link. The work also requires the installation of two anchor plates onto the side wall, activation for service, and all other associated hardware, fittings, and connections to ensure a complete and operable system. The TUFFBOOM system is an engineered, prefabricated floating collection unit designed to skim floatable trash and litter, redirecting it to a collection point. Other items include mobilization, clearing and grubbing, and furnishing a Worthington TUFFBOOM Tier 3 Design Package.
