General Project Description

This project is an Invitation for Bid for TRAFFIC SIGNS AND RELATED DEVICES, intended for traffic control, customer service, and safety at the three landfills and Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) facilities within Orange County. The scope involves the supply of Caltrans Regulatory signs and custom signs, which must be manufactured from aluminum with reflective sheeting in specified colors (white, green, brown, red, yellow, and orange) and adhere to or exceed State of California specifications. Custom signs are to be produced using capital letters/small caps. Orders for these items will be placed on an as-needed basis, encompassing a wide range of devices including stop signs, speed limit postings, no parking/stopping signs, accessible parking signs, various warning signs (bump, slippery when wet), flag man paddles, pedestrian signs, do not enter/wrong way signs, left turn arrows, custom signs of multiple sizes, perforated and 12-gauge posts, surface mount anchors, Type 1 barricades with flasher lights, orange traffic cones, delineators and their bases, mileage marks, epoxy products, channelizers, raised pavement markers, pavement dots, used K-rails and their markers, steel sign stands, non-spike flares, rice straw wattle fiber rolls, wood stakes, and rotating arrows.
