General Project Description
This contract is for the provision of "as-needed" maintenance and repair services for submersible and vertical pumps, portable pumps, and various associated pump equipment, including angle drives, gear drives, drive lines, engine balancing, and part fabrication and machining. Services will be performed at multiple storm water pump stations and dams throughout Orange County. The contractor is required to provide all necessary labor, parts, procedures, materials, and equipment, and must maintain an in-house or readily available full-service machine shop capable of fabricating custom components to support emergency repairs and minimize equipment downtime. Services offered include technical assistance, estimate preparation for pump repair/rebuild, and general labor for repair/rebuilding and machining/fabrication, with assistance potentially required at night or on weekends at an hourly rate.
