General Project Description

The City of Palm Desert is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide on-call, as-needed sign design, maintenance, and installation services for a three-year term with optional extensions. The services involve comprehensive signage solutions across City-owned facilities, streets, parks, and rights-of-way. This includes design, fabrication, installation, inspection, maintenance (cleaning, lighting replacement, repainting, structural repair, graphic replacement, sandblasting), repair (damaged, unsafe signs), removal, and disposal of interior and exterior signs (building identification, monument, wayfinding, directional, office, ADA-compliant, vehicle/equipment graphics, temporary event, construction signs, banners, posters). The contractor is also responsible for permit coordination, emergency response, and ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and safety standards.
