General Project Description
The City of Porterville is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide turnkey operations and maintenance solar support services for its two solar facilities. These facilities are located at the Porterville Transit Center (61 W. Oak Ave) and the City Corporation Yard (555 N. Prospect St.). The project's purpose is to address the City's inability to monitor these systems, requiring an evaluation of existing facilities, development of repair cost estimates, and ongoing operations and maintenance. This includes services such as PV panel cleaning, 24x7 remote monitoring, performance reporting, troubleshooting, repair/call out services, vendor and warranty management, annual maintenance planning and scheduling, firmware upgrades, and de-commissioning/replacement services.
