General Project Description

This contract outlines the provision of comprehensive residential solid waste services and street sweeping for the City of Rancho Cordova. The scope includes the collection, transport, processing, and disposal of residential garbage, recyclable materials (including organic recyclables and C&D debris), large items, used oil, used oil filters, and sharps. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for street sweeping services across residential and commercial areas, along with public education, outreach programs, and various reporting requirements to ensure compliance with California waste management regulations such as SB 1383 and CALGreen. The contractor will utilize automated collection vehicles and advanced routing technology to optimize efficiency and minimize environmental impact.

Quantity: - Unit: - Work Item: Street Sweeping Services, Specifications: Sweeping Residential and Commercial Streets, minimum once every month (January-October) and twice monthly (November-December), utilizing regenerative air-based sweepers with dual gutter brooms (minimum 7 inches) and main broom (minimum 8 inches), sweep path minimum 9 feet from curb.
