General Project Description

The City of Riverside is seeking a qualified Contractor to provide emergency and non-emergency general contracting, mitigation, remediation, repair, and restoration services on an as-needed basis. The selected Contractor must be able to respond to emergency situations 24 hours per day and perform services on City-owned or operated facilities and systems, as well as private property damage. The scope includes a wide range of tasks such as sewage cleanup, water extraction, structural drying, various cleaning services (floor, carpet, rug, upholstery), odor removal, antimicrobial treatment, structural dehumidification, mold remediation, and drying equipment monitoring. Additionally, the Contractor will provide building repair and renovation services, including but not limited to painting, carpentry, demolition, drywall, concrete block, stucco, flooring, finishes, flashing, plumbing, and restroom/kitchen renovations, with the ability to subcontract other specialized work (e.g., roofing, electrical, mechanical). Contractor is responsible for photo documentation, record keeping, obtaining all necessary permits, and guaranteeing work for one year.
